FAQ
1. What are your working hours?
We are open all year round, on Fridays (from 2.30pm), and on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9 am till the end of the service time of the Airport.
2. Is it safe to skydive due to Covid19?
Every piece of equipment (jumpsuit, goggles, etc.) is used by only one person every day. After use they get special sanitized. Our school takes all the precaution measures defined by the Hellenic Aviation Association (ELAO) and Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority (HCAA).
3. Are there any special prices or offers for military personnel?
Yes. For active military personnel there are special prices for both Tandem jumps and AFF training. You can check the prices here.
4. Is there an age limit for skydiving?
There is no age limit, as long as the harness fits properly into your body. If you are under 18 years of age, you will need both parents or guardians to sign the consent form on your behalf.
5. Is there a weight limit for skydiving?
Yes! We can take tandem/student skydivers up to 95 kg.
6. What should I wear to make my first skydive?
Comfortable clothing depending on the weather conditions. We suggest trainers and sneakers. You’ll be given a jumpsuit that you can wear over your clothes.
7. Should I have any documents to enter the airport facility?
Yes! In order to get through the airport’s gate, you’ll need to present a valid ID card or similar document (passport, driving licence etc.)
8. What if I wear contact lenses or glasses?
No worries! – Contact lenses can be worn under your goggles and we have slightly larger goggles that fit on top of your glasses.
9. Should I eat before skydiving?
It’s a good idea to eat a light meal or snack before you head to the drop zone.
10. What should I avoid before skydiving?
It is strictly forbidden to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. It is advised not to be weary. If you’ve done a scuba dive, there should be a minimum period of 24 hours before you skydive.
11. How long does the entire process take?
The whole process takes up to two hours from the moment you arrive at the drop zone to complete your skydive.
12. Can my friends come and watch?
Absolutely! We have comfortable facilities overlooking the landing area!
13. What forms of payment do you accept?
We take cash and afford a certified safe POS.
14. Do you offer video and photos of tandem skydives?
Yes we do! We are offering a variety of video/photo shooting options, and we can also edit the video: a) handycam, b) external video from 1 camera flyer, c) “VIP” video from 2 camera flyers, d) wing camera, e) photo shooting and f) a fully digital processed edit video cut of your experience. 15. Can I take my camera on the plane with me?
For safety reasons, you are not allowed to take anything on the plane with you. Your instructor only or our experienced camera flyer, have this capability. Also the photo/video shooting of the airport facilities is forbidden.
16. I really want to skydive on my own. What do I have to do?
Great! We look forward to working with you on our skydiving training programs.
17. I am a licenced skydiver, what should I have with me before the jump?
a) Licence from USPA or equivalent level. b) Current subscription to the corresponding association. c) Third party liability insurance. d) Logbook with the last jump signed and stamped from S&TA / IE / AFF Instructor of the dropzone made. e) Rig’s paper data, till 120 days from reserve repack and sealed reserve pin.
18. How can I get to Skydive Greece?
a. With the Suburban Railway (Proastiakos Sidirodromos): The Airport is close to the “Megara” station (Piraeus-Kiato line). Please, get in touch with us for further instructions. b. With your own vehicle: i. You enter ATTIKI ODOS (A6 Motorway), heading towards ELEFSINA. At the end of ATTIKI ODOS, you pass the first tolls and you eventually enter the GREEK NATIONAL ROAD ATHENS-CORINTH (8A). ii. After approximately 14 km, you take the exit MEGARA- PACHI and you head South towards PACHI. iii. You pass by the PACHI village and you continue for approximately 3 km until you reach your destination: MEGARA AIRPORT (CIVIL AVIATION ENTRANCE). iv. To enter the airport area, it is necessary that you have with you a valid ID Card or Passport.
